They wanted to completely cut off public access but, back then, the state said no public access no taxpayer funds for beach renourishment. The property owners gave in quickly, given the situation in SC now something tells me the government wouldn't make the same decision. We have a small crock pot... it's really great for days I'm away all day... or nights I want to "supplement" the heat source in cold weather (like now).
